The Village of Downers Grove is located 22 miles west of Chicago. Convenient access to Chicago via rail and several major expressways make Downers Grove a prime location to live and work. Tucked under the theatre, the Tivoli Bowling Lanes offers a classic bowling experience on 12 wood lanes. The Downers Grove Park District boasts nearly 600 acres of parks and facilities and takes pride in its ability to provide high quality recreational experiences and facilities to the community.
Downers Grove has a highly regarded public school system as well as being the home to the Avery Coonley school, a private K-8 school known for its math and science-oriented teaching as well as its focus on the arts and foreign language.
